Daya Hang Completes Dubbing for ‘Anjila’, International Release Announcement Coming Soon
The film ‘Anjila’ is based on the life of Angila Thumbapo Subba, the goalkeeper of the national women's football team.

Kathmandu – Actor Daya Hang Rai has finished dubbing for the Nepali film ‘Anjila’. The movie is set to release in Nepal on February 12. Despite his busy schedule, Rai has completed the dubbing work.
The film ‘Anjila’ is based on the life of Angila Thumbapo Subba, the goalkeeper of the national women's football team. Directed by Milan Chams, the film is almost fully completed, and a press conference will soon be held to announce its international release.
Angila Thumbapo Subba plays herself in the film, alongside actors such as Daya Hang Rai, Srijana Subba, Mao Tse Gurung, and Buddhi Tamang. Producer Prem Kumar Shrestha also plays a significant role in the movie.
Filming takes place in Angila’s hometown of Ilam, as well as in Jhapa and Kathmandu. The story portrays Angila’s struggles and successes from childhood to her sporting career. According to Director Chams, the film aims to convey the message that nothing is impossible with determination. He notes that while the film is not a complete biopic of Angila, it is based on various events from her life.
The cinematography is done by Sudip Baral, while editing is handled by Milan Shrestha. Produced under the banner of Muna Love Entertainment, the film is co-produced by Tubendra Limbu, Vinod Agrawal, and Rajesh Bagdai. Vinod Suvedi Khatri takes on the role of production controller.
