Nepal online patrika , kathmandu | In the first six months of the financial year 2080/081, there has been a decrease in exports and imports. During the month of January, total commodity exports decreased by 7.2 percent and imports decreased by 3.8 percent.

In a press conference held at the Ministry of Finance, Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat said that the main reason for the decrease in exports is that the manufacturing companies could not accelerate. Finance Minister Mahat informed that the reduction in imports is being discussed with the relevant agencies.

Similarly, during this period, additional securities worth 24 billion 48 crores have been listed. The report states that the market capitalization is 33 trillion 30 billion 75 million.

During this period, the remittance inflow has increased by 25.30 percent in Nepali currency. This has reached 7 billion 33 billion 22 billion.
