Saudi Arabia is a major destination for Nepali labor, with approximately four million Nepalis working there. According to a Nepali embassy official cited by the BBC, many Nepalis get caught and end up in jail when they become involved in making and selling liquor to earn more income.
According to the official, currently, more than 400 Nepalis are in jail. However, the actual number could be much higher than that.
