Narayan Prasad Acharya, a candidate for the CPN (UML), received 31,103 votes to win the election for Member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Palpa electoral constituency-1.
Ram Hari Pandey, an assistant poll officer, said that Gyan Bahadur Gaha of the Nepali Congress received 20,256 votes, placing him as Acharya’s closest rival. With 2,863, independent candidate Bipin Kandel trails the NC, and Meharman Lama of the Janata Samajbadi Party of Nepal came in third with 85.

Gyan Bahadur Sinjali of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, who received 252, Thaman Bahadur Budha Magar of the Mangol National Organization, who received 1,916, Ujar Singh Darlami of the Rashtriya Janamukti Party, who received 115, and independent candidates Narayan Neupane, Raju Sunar, and Dolraj Timilsina, who used the butterfly election symbol, all competed for the HoR seat from the constituency
Out of the 96,033 votes cast in this location on November 20, 58,491 were deemed valid. Acharya had triumphed over the Palpa 1 in the preceding Province Assembly elections (2).
