Anil Shah scored a record fifty in ODI cricket against Canada on Saturday. Anil Sah scored a fifty in 19 balls and set a national record for the fastest fifty.

He broke the record set by Asif Sheikh against Papua New Guinea last year. Asif scored a half-century against PNG in 21 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes.

On Saturday, Anil scored a half-century in 19 balls with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes. Anil, who scored 43 runs in 13 balls, had the opportunity to set a world record. After scoring a half-century, Anil was dismissed lbw by Canadian bowler Ishwarjot Sohi in the 20th ball.

South Africa’s AB de Villiers holds the record for the fastest half-century in ODI cricket. He scored 50 runs in 16 balls against West Indies in 2015.

Nepal has got a target of 286 runs to win the match against Canada in the second ODI.
