Nepal online patrika , kathmandu | Today, Nepal faces Iraq in the WAF Women’s Championship in Saudi Arabia, eyeing a spot in the semi-finals.

In this crucial match under Group B, scheduled at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at 7:45 PM Nepali time, Nepal aims to secure victory and advance to the semi-finals.

Making their debut in the WAF Championship, Nepal secured a convincing 4-1 win against Syria in their first match. Conversely, Iraq suffered a 3-0 defeat against Palestine in their opening match.

Later today, Syria and Palestine will clash in the next Group B match. A win for both Nepal and Palestine would see them through to the semi-finals with one game remaining. Nepal’s final group stage match is against Palestine on Saturday.

In Group A, former champions Jordan and Lebanon have already booked their spots in the semi-finals with two consecutive wins. Jordan defeated Guam 3-0, while Lebanon secured a 3-2 victory over Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, setting up a showdown between the two on Friday to determine the group’s top team.
