Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Paudel inaugurates the newly built building of the Nateshwari Temple in Triveni Municipality, Ward No. 7 of Bajura district on Thursday. During the inauguration, he recalls how people have prayed for blessings for themselves and the nation at such holy sites since ancient times.

Standing at the temple premises, President Paudel expresses his heartfelt wish, saying, “Today, as I stand on this sacred land, I pray for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of all Nepali people.”

He shares that visiting the Badimalika region and witnessing its stunning natural beauty feels like arriving at the most significant pilgrimage site of his life.

“When I stood at Badimalika and saw the breathtaking scenery around, I felt like I had stepped into heaven. It is truly the most divine pilgrimage site I have ever visited. Standing here in the courtyard of the Nateshwari Temple, I want to say that, for the first time, I have seen what true heaven looks like through the beauty of this place,” remarks President Paudel.

He highlights how Nepal’s religious sites and divine landmarks, like Badimalika, serve as symbols of unity by connecting the diverse multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural society. These places, he adds, promote religious tolerance and mutual harmony while inspiring humanity towards virtuous deeds.

President Paudel expresses his delight in having the opportunity to visit the mystical Badimalika temple and the Nateshwari Temple, considering them to be exceptional treasures of Nepal. He believes such sacred sites enrich the country’s spiritual heritage and strengthen the bond of unity among its people.
