Kathmandu. Oppo has set up a ‘5G Innovation Lab’ at the R&D Center for the study and development needed to build a 5G Connected ecosystem in India.
The company has brought the lab into operation at its office in Hyderabad, India. It has been mentioned that this lab started by Oppo will be important for the development of 5G technology keeping in view the needs of the market.
“5G is indispensable for Oppo’s technological development,” said Levin Lew, head of the Oppo Research Institute.
Oppo, which has been working in 5G for a long time, has been making a great contribution in this field through the development of studies and technology. In 2015, Oppo was the only company to advance Phoebe’s 3GPP standards globally.
As of September 2020, Oppo has already introduced the 5G criteria for more than 3,000 3GPPs. In addition, the company has registered one thousand 5G patents.
