Kathmandu. From Tuesday, it has become possible to apply online for a driver’s license (smart driving license). The online registration time is from 6 am to 10 am, according to the Department of Transport Management.
The firm is registered only when the weekly quota is available. The department will provide quotas on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday on the basis of biometric data.
If the service recipient fails the exam on the date provided for the driving license exam, he/she can fill the online form again after 15 days.
Clients who fail the written test can re-register online after 90 days.
The online applicant can find out the status of the online application and license by clicking the Check Status button.
The result of the written test has to be sent to 33001 by typing WT <space> Applicant ID> on the mobile.
Similarly, to know whether the smart card is printed or not, you have to send LC <space> Applicant ID> to 33001.
