Trump Refuses to Join Another Debate with Kamala Harris
Trump stated that there is no need for another debate as key issues such as immigration and inflation have already been discussed in detail.
Kathmandu | Former President Donald Trump has announced that he will not participate in another presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Despite claiming victory in the debate on Tuesday night, polls have shown Harris as the winner. Both Trump, representing the Republican Party, and Harris, from the Democratic Party, are competing in the upcoming November presidential election. Polls suggest a tight race between the two candidates.
Trump stated that there is no need for another debate as key issues such as immigration and inflation have already been discussed in detail. Criticising the Biden administration, he claimed that the country has been "ruined" and that these points have already been raised in the debate.
"When a professional boxer loses, they always ask for a rematch. I won the debate against Kamala Harris, and right after her loss, she demanded another debate," Trump remarked.
Additionally, Trump accused Harris of refusing to participate in debates on Fox News and declining debates with NBC and CBS.
The U.S. presidential election is set for November 5.
