kathmandu | The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index experienced a decline of 9.54 units today, closing at 2,179.97 points.
Trading activity was notable, with 84,90,722 shares of 315 companies changing hands, amounting to a total transaction value of approximately NPR 3,70,84,30,055.
In terms of sector performance, the Production and Processing Group rose by 0.40 points, Mutual Funds increased by 0.17 points, and the Business Group saw a 0.16% uptick. Conversely, the Hydropower and Hotel & Tourism sectors declined by 0.80 points and Other sectors by 0.94%.
