kathmandu | Apple is reportedly in talks with OpenAI to integrate advanced AI features into the forthcoming iOS 18. As per a recent external report, Apple is pursuing a collaboration with OpenAI specifically for the Language Model (LLM) within iOS devices.
Although discussions between the companies are in their final stages, no official announcement has been released yet. Notable technology analyst Mark Gurman has indicated that Apple is nearing the conclusion of negotiations with OpenAI to embed generative AI capabilities like Chatbot into the upcoming iOS.
Gurman highlighted the ongoing discussions between the companies through social media posts.
