Kathmandu. In a significant development, Japan has pledged its support for Nepal through the implementation of 12 crucial water projects.
The formal agreement was sealed between the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Kikuta Yutaka, and the Executive Director of Nepal United Mission (NUM), Dhana Lama, on Monday. This agreement marks a pivotal moment in bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
As per the terms outlined in the agreement, Japan’s support will be directed towards the implementation of 12 water projects spanning across 12 municipalities situated in the provinces of Koshi, Lumbini, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki.
