The first meeting of the Council of Ministers, chaired by newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, decided to develop a well-equipped sports ground in Kirtipur.
The meeting, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar after Oli took his oath of office before President Ram Chandra Poudel today, made this decision, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
The decision includes building a parapet for spectators, floodlights for nighttime sports, and necessary infrastructure at the stadium. A timeframe of 300 days has been set for this work.

The meeting also decided to appoint Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung as the spokesperson of the Government of Nepal.
