Karhmandu. Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that leftist unity is currently not achievable. During the second full meeting of the Bagmati Province Committee of the NCP (Maoist) held at the party headquarters on Tuesday, Oli emphasized the need to strengthen the party now, dismissing the possibility of leftist unity.
Referring to his own leadership, KP Sharma Oli recalls the consolidation of the Communist Party and mentions those who couldn’t bear it were left behind. Oli points out Madhav Nepal, suggesting the Communist unity suffered due to some individuals within the party. He emphasizes the need to strengthen the Maoists, hinting at those who leaned towards the Congress party for unity purposes.
Accusing the NCP (Maoist), Oli alleges deceit and running a slanderous campaign against the NCP (Unified Socialist) while highlighting Congress’s involvement in running a slander factory. Addressing Congress’s general secretary Vishwaprakash Sharma, Oli accuses Congress of running a slanderous campaign.
