Police Seek Seven More Days of Detention for Durga Prasai
Prasai is accused of defaming a woman and a man associated with the Rastriya Swatantra Party through his YouTube videos.

Kathmandu: The police have presented medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai to court, requesting an extension of his detention by seven days. The Cyber Bureau has asked for additional time to keep him in custody following his arrest on 22th September from his home in Thimi, Bhaktapur.
An official from the Cyber Bureau informed Ratopati that they have already sought the court’s approval for this extended custody.
Along with Prasai, the court has issued arrest warrants for Jeevan Pandey from Baglung and Prakash Chandra Dahal from Dhading. Prasai is accused of defaming a woman and a man associated with the Rastriya Swatantra Party through his YouTube videos.
