kathmandu : The NEPSE index continued its upward trend for the second day of the trading week, gaining a significant boost. After rising by 31 points on Tuesday, the stock market increased by another 43 points on Wednesday.

With this rise of 43.22 points, the NEPSE index now stands at 2,742 points. Additionally, trading volume saw a notable increase. While the previous day recorded transactions worth NPR 3.06 billion, Wednesday's trading reached NPR 5.66 billion.

A total of 13.2 million shares, valued at NPR 5.66 billion, were traded on Wednesday. All 13 subgroups listed for trading showed positive indicators, reflecting an overall strong market performance.
