Sampurna Youth Club Thrashes Devdaha Boys in Lissnu Cup Opener
The winning team will receive a prize of 325,000 rupees, while the runner-up will be awarded 165,000 rupees.

Bhairahawa – In the opening match of the Lissnu knockout football tournament, Sampurna Youth Club Tilottama delivered a dominant performance, defeating Devdaha Boys Khaireni Rupandehi 5-0. The 22nd edition of the tournament kicked off on Saturday at the Pashupati Secondary School ground in Kotihwa, Tilottama-15.
Sampurna's Srijan Gautam shone brightly with a hat-trick, scoring once before halftime and twice in the second half. Captain Purn Bahadur Gurung also contributed with two goals, one in each half.
The winning team will receive a prize of 325,000 rupees, while the runner-up will be awarded 165,000 rupees. The tournament features 12 teams from Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Syangja, Palpa, and Nawalparasi, as confirmed by Lissnu Youth Club President Tirth Raj Mall.
Sunday's fixture will see Sanjivani Youth Club Tilottama-14 face off against Nawalparasi-11. The tournament was officially opened by MP Chhavilal Vishwakarma.
