The game took a dramatic turn in the 20th minute when Spanish defender Robin Le Normand was shown a red card, leaving Spain one player down.
Switzerland tried to capitalise on this, with Zeki Amdouni scoring in the 41st minute to reduce the deficit.
However, Spain remained composed, and Fabian Ruiz netted his second goal in the 77th minute, extending Spain's lead to 3-1. Ferran Torres then sealed the win with a goal in the 80th minute.
Following this victory, Spain is now in second place with four points from two matches. Denmark, who defeated Serbia 2-0 in their second consecutive win, tops the group with six points.
