Air ticket booking for Dasain-Tihar starts, when ticket available for bus?
Anil Manandhar, manager of Shree Airlines, shared that 80% of their flights are already full.

Kathmandu | With the festive season of Dashain and Tihar approaching, airlines have already begun taking bookings for flights.
Many passengers, fearing a shortage of tickets later, have started booking a month in advance after airlines did not open early reservations specifically for Dashain.
According to the Airlines Operators Association, online ticketing has made it convenient, and bookings for most domestic flights have already started. The association's spokesperson, Muraridhar Joshi, mentioned that there is a surge in demand for tickets to remote destinations rather than easily accessible ones during Dashain.
Buddha Air’s spokesperson, Dipendra Kumar Karn, said that around 60% of the bookings have already been made, particularly for flights around Ghatasthapana and Phulpati.
Similarly, Anil Manandhar, manager of Shree Airlines, shared that 80% of their flights are already full, with Dashain-specific bookings in full swing.
Meanwhile, for public transport, advance bookings for buses targeting Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath festivals are expected to open in the first week of October (Ashoj). The National Federation of Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs has indicated that they are preparing to begin discussions with government agencies to finalise the date for opening bus bookings.
Traditionally, long-distance bus tickets are made available 15 days before Dashain.
