Mongolian Heart Set to Perform in Hong Kong After 8 Years

Kathmandu | Popular Nepali band Mongolian Heart is set to perform in Hong Kong after an eight-year hiatus. Following performances in Australia, South Korea, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, the band will host a grand concert at the Yuen Long Theatre on 15 September.
Bobby Lama, the band’s guitarist and manager, expressed excitement about returning to Hong Kong after so long. "Eight years ago, we received immense love from the audience during our concert in Hong Kong," he said. "We are excited to recreate that magical atmosphere and are preparing something special. We can’t wait to entertain our Hong Kong fans with a mix of our classic and new songs."
Mongolian Heart, founded in 1992, is known for its unique blend of folk, slow rock, and pop melodies. The band includes lead vocalist Raju Lama, rhythm guitarist Bobby Lama, drummer Santosh Thapa Magar, lead guitarist Bhupendra Bajracharya, bassist Pawan Kapali, flutist Vinay Maharjan, and madal player Baburaja Maharjan. Some of their hit songs include "Baadal Pariko Desh Bata," "Mero Nepal," "Sumina," "Ma Maya Laaudina," and "Halla Chalecha."
The concert is being organized by Nepali Touch Hong Kong. Along with Mongolian Heart, Nepali singers Dharmendra Sewan, Santosh Pun, and Asma Bishwakarma will also be performing. The band is set to depart for Hong Kong on Sunday, 11 September, to begin their musical journey.
