Nepal Sees 22.2 Million 4G Users: Breakdown by Mobile Provider
Nepal Telecom has seen growth compared to the previous month, with an increase of 124,124 new 4G subscribers.

Kathmandu. The number of 4G internet users in Nepal has reached an impressive 22.2 million, according to recent data from the Nepal Telecommunications Authority. The data, from Ashar 2081 (June/July 2024), shows that 22,232,416 people are now using 4G services across the country.
Nepal Telecom leads the 4G market with 15.28 million subscribers. Meanwhile, Ncell follows with 6.95 million users.
Nepal Telecom has seen growth compared to the previous month, with an increase of 124,124 new 4G subscribers. In Jestha 2081 (May/June 2024), they had 15.16 million users, but by the end of Ashar, the figure had risen to 15.28 million.
However, Ncell's 4G user base has declined. In Jestha 2081, Ncell had 7.31 million 4G users, but by the end of Ashar, this number had dropped by 364,149 to 6.95 million.
In terms of mobile broadband market share, Nepal Telecom dominates with 71.85%, while Ncell holds 28.15%.
