Kathmandu | Following the deadly explosions in Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday, where many lost their lives and thousands were injured, the use of pagers and walkie-talkies has now been banned at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport.
This airport, located in the capital Beirut, is Lebanon’s only commercial airport. The ban applies to all flights departing from the airport.
Lebanon’s official news agency, NNA, quoted aviation authorities, urging passengers not to carry devices like pagers or walkie-talkies. If found, such items will be immediately confiscated.
