Party Born for the People Cannot Be Corrupt: Vice President Aryal

Kathmandu– Dol Prasad Aryal, Vice President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has stated that a party created to serve the people cannot engage in corruption.

Speaking at a gathering during the formation of the Sindhuli-Kathmandu Contact Department on Saturday, Aryal emphasized that the RSP, which came into politics promising to deliver for the people, is incapable of indulging in corrupt activities.

Aryal reflected on the party's four-month tenure in government, claiming that their actions have unsettled career politicians. "In just four months, as corruption files started to open, those who have turned politics into a profession have been scared. We will not be shaken. We will move forward with reforms," Aryal stated.

He further said that if any leader of the RSP is found involved in corruption, they would not be spared. "We will not protect anyone proven to be corrupt," he affirmed.

Aryal reassured supporters that, despite the challenges and the pressures of time and circumstance, the party remains steadfast in its commitment to fight corruption. "Our party was established for the very purpose of eliminating corruption, and we will not deviate from that mission. We are the same as we were when party president Rabi Lamichhane first spoke at Rastriya Sabha Griha on June 21, 2022. We have not changed, and we will continue to stand firm," he concluded.
