Task Force Formed to Draft Government's Minimum Common Programme
A task force has been formed to draft the government's Minimum Common Programme and hold discussions with other ruling parties.

Kathmandu | The government has formed a task force to draft its Minimum Common Programme (MCP). A decision has also been made to hold discussions with other ruling parties regarding the programme.
According to a leader present at the meeting, the task force includes General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Prakash Sharan Mahat from the Nepali Congress, and Deputy General Secretaries Pradeep Gyawali and Bishnu Rimal from the CPN-UML.
Although CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli was appointed as Prime Minister on 30th Asar following an agreement on 17th Asar, the MCP had not yet been finalised.
The new task force aims to address this and move the process forward.
