Kathmandu : Russia has claimed to have destroyed 125 Ukrainian drones that entered its territory overnight, with no reported damage from the attacks, according to the Russian Defence Ministry on Sunday. "Around 125 Ukrainian drones were taken down by Russian air defence systems," the ministry stated on Telegram.

In the southern Volgograd region, Governor Andrei Bocharov reported that 67 drones were destroyed. Meanwhile, Governor Alexander Gusev confirmed that 17 drones were neutralised in both Belgorod and Voronezh regions. In Voronezh city, two residential buildings caught fire after drone debris fell, but no casualties were reported.

Additionally, Governor Vasily Golubev reported that 18 more drones were destroyed in the Rostov region. The Defence Ministry also noted that one Ukrainian drone was shot down in each of the Bryansk, Kursk, and Krasnodar regions, and three drones were destroyed over the Sea of Azov.
