209 Dead, 29 Missing in Three Days of Disaster

Kathmandu. Continuous rainfall from September 26 to 28 has caused widespread floods, landslides, and inundations across much of the country, resulting in the tragic death of 209 people so far.
According to Home Ministry spokesperson, Under-Secretary Rishiram Tiwari, 29 individuals remain missing, while 142 have been injured in the ongoing disaster.
Rescue efforts continue, with the Nepal Army using helicopters to evacuate 425 people, including the injured and stranded, from areas like Kavrepalanchok, Sindhupalchok, Sindhuli, and Lalitpur on Monday.
