Around 1,500 Passengers Rescued from BP Highway
The Nepal Army reports that about 1,200 passengers travelling towards Kathmandu and 300 heading towards Sindhuli have been safely rescued.
Kathmandu – Around 1,500 passengers, who were stranded on the BP Highway due to floods and landslides, have been rescued.
According to the Nepal Army, passengers stuck near Bhakure Khola in Roshi Rural Municipality Wards 9 and 11 of Kavre district were rescued by security personnel with the help of local residents.
The Nepal Army reports that about 1,200 passengers travelling towards Kathmandu and 300 heading towards Sindhuli have been safely rescued.
Additionally, in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-7 of Sindhuli, a landslide that had blocked the BP Highway has been cleared. The Army has also constructed an alternative route near the damaged road.
