Minister Pandey: Indra Jatra Has Gained International Recognition
Minister Pandey also expressed his commitment to increasing the Indra Jatra endowment fund from 50 million to 150 million rupees.

Kathmandu - Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Pandey has stated that the Indra Jatra festival has already established itself internationally. The minister made this remark on Monday during discussions with concerned stakeholders regarding the festival's preparations.
Minister Pandey also expressed his commitment to increasing the Indra Jatra endowment fund from 50 million to 150 million rupees. He assured that the ministry is prepared to coordinate with other ministries and all three levels of government on matters related to the festival.
Additionally, he called for rectifying past shortcomings to ensure that this year’s celebration is grand and dignified. The Indra Jatra festival is set to be celebrated on September 17th.
