Modi's Response After Meeting Oli: India-Nepal Friendship is Stronger Than Ever

kathmandu | Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi meet during the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York on Monday morning.
After their meeting, Prime Minister Modi expresses that he had a very good discussion with Oli. He highlights that the friendship between India and Nepal is very strong and that they want to further enhance their relationship.
In a tweet, Modi mentions that their talks cover important topics such as energy, technology, and trade. He shares a photo with Oli and writes, "I had a very good meeting with Prime Minister K.P. Oli in New York. The India-Nepal friendship is strong, and we want to give even more momentum to our relationship. Our discussions focused on issues like energy, technology, and trade."
Earlier, Oli also describes the meeting as positive. Speaking briefly to reporters afterwards, he states that the discussions were fruitful.
Similarly, Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba describes the meeting between the two leaders as cordial. She adds that Modi has indicated he will visit Nepal soon.
