Petrol and Diesel Prices Drop in Nepal
The price drop follows a new purchase rate from the Indian Oil Corporation, which supplies fuel to Nepal. The decision is made during a board meeting of the corporation on Sunday.
Kathmandu. The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) announces a reduction in fuel prices. Starting from midnight on Sunday, petrol prices decrease by NPR 4 per litre, while diesel and kerosene prices drop by NPR 5 per litre.
As per the new price list, petrol now costs NPR 159 per litre in Kathmandu, and diesel and kerosene are priced at NPR 149 per litre. NOC confirms that the prices of other fuels remain unchanged.
