Higher decline in NEPSE, Index at 2470 points

kathmandu | The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experiences a significant drop on Tuesday. Trading begins at 2,529 points but decreases by 58.93 points, bringing the index down to 2,470 points.

Overall, the market falls by 2.33%, with a total turnover of NPR 5.68 billion. A total of 155 lakh shares from 309 companies are traded today.

The prices of shares from 233 companies decrease, while only 10 companies see a rise, and one company remains stable. Upper Syange Hydropower's price increases by 7.83%, but no other rising company achieves more than a 5% gain.

Himalayan Hydropower hits a negative circuit, and Nepal Finance Limited sees its share price drop by 8.74%. Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower’s price also declines by 8%.

Additionally, the Sensitive Index falls by 2.09%, and all sectoral indices follow a downward trend.
