NEPSE Drops by 22.73 Points, Daily Trading at Rs. 6.85 Billion

Share prices of 66 companies increased today, while 174 companies saw their share prices fall. Meanwhile, the prices of shares in four companies remained unchanged

Kathmandu | The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 22.73 points, closing at 2,610.21 today. Along with the decline in the index, the overall trading volume also dipped. A total of Rs. 6.85 billion worth of shares were traded in the market.

According to NEPSE, the share prices of 66 companies increased today, while 174 companies saw their share prices fall. Meanwhile, the prices of shares in four companies remained unchanged.

Despite the market downturn, Vinn Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha saw a 10% increase in its share price, and Three Star Hydropower experienced a 9.48% rise.

Among the 13 sectors that were active today, the Finance sector rose by 0.43%, the Non-life Insurance sector saw a 0.02% increase, and the Trading sector recorded a 0.16% rise.
