"IFC to expand investment in Nepal"
Last year, IFC invested 100 million USD in Nepal.
Kathmandu. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is set to expand its investment in Nepal.
During a meeting at the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, Imad Fakhoury, IFC's Regional Director for South Asia, mentioned that IFC plans to expand its investment in Nepal.
Last year, IFC invested 100 million USD in Nepal.
Regional Director Fakhoury highlighted that IFC’s priorities include green energy, job creation, and economic participation, and he stated that he and his team will play a significant role in broadening investments in Nepal.
Finance Minister Paudel emphasized the need for more investment to improve Nepal's economy and urged IFC to expand its investment, keeping in mind Nepal’s priorities and needs.
