On the first trading day, the market dropped by 50.73 points, starting from 2639 and reaching 2576 by the end of the week.
Over the three days, the market saw transactions worth NPR 23.37 billion. Investors showed particular interest in CEDB Hydropower shares throughout the week.
On Sunday, the NEPSE index fell by 50.73 points, settling at 2637.79. During the day's trading, 324 companies exchanged 24.8 million shares, valued at NPR 10.33 billion in total. Investors heavily focused on CEDB Hydropower shares.
On the second trading day, the index declined by 57.03 points, closing at 2580.76. Shares of 312 companies changed hands 92,815 times, involving 17 million shares with a total value of NPR 7.36 billion. Once again, investors were drawn towards CEDB Hydropower.
The final trading day of the week saw a further decrease in the NEPSE index by 4 points, closing at 2576.76. On Wednesday, 320 companies saw a total of 14 million shares traded in 8,378 transactions, with a total turnover of NPR 5.66 billion. CEDB Hydropower continued to attract strong investor attention throughout the day.
